Dr. Ahmed Elsayed

Dr. Elsayed's top priority is to assist his patients in achieving and maintaining optimal oral health. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients based on mutual trust and respect. As an attentive listener, he values his patients' opinions and ensures they are well informed about their treatment options. With attention to detail and craftsmanship, he takes great pride in the intricate process of building beautiful smiles that last a lifetime.

Dr. Elsayed has been practicing dentistry since 2010, displaying a passion for restorative and cosmetic dentistry. After successfully completing his residency, he obtained his Master's degree in Restorative Dentistry from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Elsayed further expanded his credentials by joining the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, where he achieved his MFDS. Following his relocation to the United States, Dr. Elsayed's most recent educational achievement was earning his DMD from Boston University.

Meet Dr. Guze In Everett

As a board-certified periodontist, Dr. Kevin Guze is an expert in diagnosing, preventing, and treating gum disease. He also performs all aspects of periodontic surgery, including advanced dental implant treatment. Combining experience and the latest techniques and technology, he’s devoted to providing patients exceptional care and delivering reliable, safe, and long-lasting results.

Dr. Guze pursued his vocation by first earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia and completing a general practice residency at Vancouver General Hospital. He practiced in Vancouver for 12 years before hitting the books again at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He obtained a certification in periodontology and a Doctor of Medical Science degree. Dr. Guze also completed his Master’s degree in therapeutic research at Oxford University.

As a lifelong learner who is passionate about what he does, Dr. Guze is also an instructor and researcher at Harvard. In 2009, he received the prestigious Goldhaber Research Prize. He conducts translational research, which means he brings innovations from the lab to clinical practice. At home, Dr. Guze enjoys playing hockey and tennis, going for hikes, and savoring quality time with his wife and four kids.

Meet Dr. Shy Ni

Dr. Shy Ni uses a combination of both traditional techniques and today’s proven technology to focus on treating the gums and bones surrounding the teeth. Her patients are always her top priority, and she strives to ensure their comfort and satisfaction during every visit. As a professional in the dental industry, she takes great pride in making a significant difference in people's lives, not just by improving their oral health but also by enhancing their overall quality of life.

Dr. Shy Chwen Ni received her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Merced, in 2010. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health, which she earned in 2019. In 2023, Dr. Shy Ni completed her Doctor of Medical Science degree in Periodontology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She has been an invaluable member of our team ever since.

Christina Messina

Practice Manager

Christina has been part of the team at Everett Dental Wellness for two years. In her role, she keeps all aspects of our operation running smoothly, including collections and scheduling. Christina loves interacting with patients to help get their needs addressed and by making insurance-related calls. Her advice is to keep your preventive appointments!

Outside the office, Christina enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart, Paulo. She’d like to one day get a teacup Yorkie. Christina’s claim to fame is winning the lottery and Lucky 4 Life. Her roots are in Somerville, but she has lived in our community since graduating from school in 1997.

Lea DiGaetano

Front Desk

Lea has been making a big impact at our practice since 2021. The highlight of her role is helping patients with their periodontal treatments. Her philosophy is that “preventive care is optimal for everyone’s overall health.” Lea was drawn to our office because of the atmosphere and pleasant team members. She has gained all of her experience on the job.

In her downtime, Lea enjoys eating, relaxing, and going to the movies. Her partner is Tre. Lea grew up right here in Everett! She never thought she’d work in healthcare but is very happy she does. Her motto is to work hard for what you want.

Lauren Ring

Registered Dental Hygienist

Lauren has been in the dental field for many years, working with a variety of specialties that range from orthodontics to general dentistry to periodontics. She achieved her associate degree in dental hygiene and local anesthesia at Middlesex Community College before attending Mount Ida College, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene business management.

Lauren is passionate about preventive care, periodontics, and overall health. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, exploring the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and traveling to the coast of Maine.
